View source for xAP Internet Dialup Monitor

This application is designed to monitor dialup connections and broadcast a xAP message whenever a connection or disconnection is detected, using the from the [[Dialup Internet Connection Monitoring]] message xAP Schema.

Whilst this is of no use to those of us with broadband, for the rest with a simple dialup connection, many have a shared Internet connection through one machine on the home area network. This connects dynamically upon demand and often disconnects after a set period of inactivity.

When my dialup connection time was metered I wished to know exactly when my Internet connection was established. In addition I wanted to be informed regularly that the connection was still active, and also when it disconnected.
This release also sends Online messages at regular intervals whilst connected. It additionally accepts Disconnect action commands to force a disconnect from the Internet. I have used xAP Send with a suitable xAP message in a text file to do this.

Combined with [[xAP Internet Dialup OSD]], it can be used to send connection information to xAP enabled Displays
